Radiology

Pediatric radiologist cooperates with pediatricians in diagnosing new-borns, children and adolescents using modern equipment for scanning internal organs, such as X-rays and ultrasound.

Radiology is divided into three branches: diagnostic radiology (performing tests and scans using technologies such as X-ray, CAT, ultrasound, MRI, scanner, magnetic resonance and the like, and analyzing the results obtained in order to diagnose diseases), interventional radiology (performing interventional procedures in accordance with the results of diagnostic radiology) and oncological radiology (using radiation in treatment of diseases)

What do we provide?

Diagnostic equipment for children differs from adult diagnostic equipment. We have a state-of-the-art premium ultrasound device designed for children, with specialized improvements for diagnozing new-borns, so our doctors work with reliable diagnostic results.

Most radiological tests are painless, but require the child to stay still. Since our team works primarily with children, we know how to adapt the approach to each child individually.

If you need an analysis and interpretation of test results from another institution (RTG, scan, magnetic resonance), you can contact us for interpretation.

When to see a radiologist?

A visit to a radiologist is usually done upon referral by a pediatrician for diagnostic treatment or monitoring postoperative recovery.
