Allergology

A children's allergologist is a doctor who treats allergies. They carry out examinations and tests and based on test results provides advice for further treatment. Children can be allergic to pollen, dust, animals, food, medicine, etc.

What do we provide?

Our allergologist will carry out an examination, perform skin allergy tests in order to clarify the origin and cause of changes in the child's organism (such as hives), establish diagnosis and a treatment plan. Treatment, in addition to therapy, may include a diet, avoiding contact with allergens, and vaccination.

When to see an allergologist?

Childhood is a period when reactions on the skin and other organs (eg. respiratory organs) occur often, stimulated by over-sensitivity of the organism to various factors from the environment, whether they are food ingredients or particles in the air. Allergies have recently been on the rise, so it is extremely important to take the necessary steps on time if you notice that your child has symptoms.

The most common symptoms of allergies are:

  • Rash, itching on the skin or eyes
  • Swelling of body parts (like eyelids)
  • Cough
  • Bronchitis
  • Sneezing
  • Short breath
  • Stuffy nose and sinuses
