Orthopedics

A children's orthopedist is a specialist who deals with prevention and treatment of illnesses, deformations and injuries of a child's motor system.

Orthopedists mostly deal with bone fractures, but also various other injuries and illnesses, which include sport injuries, flat feet, injuries to the muscles and tendons, bone and joint dislocations or infections, hip and feet deformities, differences in arm and leg length and scoliosis.

What do we provide?

Our orthopedist will first perform the basic examination of your child, and if necessary, instruct further diagnostic like additional testing and scanning, establish a diagnosis and determine a treatment plan.

When to see an orthopedist?

Running, climbing, jumping and other games become an integral part of growing up shortly after your child makes their first steps. Physical activities are good for children's health but often cause injuries.

Children are constantly growing, so reactions of their bodies to injuries are different from those in adults. Bone fractures that are not treated in time can lead to deformation of the entire skeleton, therefore it is very important that in case of an injury you bring your child to the doctor on time. You can contact us if you have any doubt that your child is not developing properly and we will solve all your dilemmas.
