You Don't Need to Be Medical Experts to Raise Your Children
Pregnancy and the first days of a new-born’s life can be very demanding for parents who are often overwhelmed with information on how to take care of their babies. Internet, television, books, advice from friends and family - they are all often contradictory, making it hard to make the right decisions.
We know that you have a lot of questions and we are confident that we can give you the right answers and solve your dilemmas.
After a detailed clinical examination of your baby and collecting information about pregnancy and childbirth, we will provide you with the following services:
- We will give you all the necessary information and advice on how to feed and bathe your baby, take care of their skin, navel, understand their needs and habits.
- We will give you advice on the important matter of breastfeeding, how to start and maintain it, and help the baby develop and grow to satisfying standards.
- We will inform you about the schedule of systematic and ultrasound examinations, most of which are done in the first year. Regular controls are important because they monitor baby's growth at certain time intervals and are performed at the age of two weeks, four weeks, in III, V, VII (complete blood count), IX and XII months.
- We will provide your baby with all the examinations, tests and laboratory analyses in case they develop symptoms of a disease.
- If the delivery was difficult or the presentation of the baby was pelvic, or there was a suspicion of the presence of a brain disorder, we can also perform ultrasound scans of the brain, which help diagnose problems and are not harmful to children's health. When necessary, we will perform control ultrasound examinations of the brain as long as the large fontanel is open.
- We will give you advice on how to recognize when something is wrong with your baby, what you should do before coming to see a doctor, and thus enable timely diagnosis and treatment of serious conditions.
